Wow, is it already October, 2024!? That feels like something that I grew up seeing at the beginning of science fiction movies. It has been a fantastic year. This spring and summer I got to travel between Kansas, Kentucky, and played a lot around Chicago, where I live these days. This weekend I get to travel out west for a couple of shows. In fact, I’m heading back out to San Diego to take part in the Robin’s Nest Animal Rescue Music Festival and Fundraiser for the second year in a row. I also just found out that I get to play a short set opening for Ashley E. Norton, a fantastic and talented singer songwriter from that area who has played all over the world. After last year’s gig, I was interviewed by John Hancock, who is an amazing photographer and MC from Ramona, CA, in Americana Highways linked below.

My musical comrade, Dave Mendez and I have been hammering away at duet gigs all over Chicago and had a long running monthly residency at Archie’s Cafe in Rogers Park. Due to gentrification, Archie’s closed in August but had a wonderful stable of amazing musicians and artists that played there for the past few years. 2024 has been awsome. We are looking forward to a busy 2025 and will be working on a new project. You can get the most recent EP, Broken Picture Wheel from me directly here off the website or on your favorite streaming service. I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday season and are safe and loved.
